The Edmonton Female Athletic Club is proud to announce that Dan Basterash has accepted the head coach position of the Bantam Elite Pandas. After playing 2 years with Red Deer College, Dan joined the University of Alberta Golden Bears for 3 years to complete his eligibility, helping them secure a National Championship in 1992. Dan Basterash has been an assistant coach with the UofA Pandas for 5 years and has been coaching female minor hockey for the past 12 seasons.
Coach Basterash has been a driving force in the development of female hockey and the Edmonton Female Athletic Club is thrilled to have Dan's passion for the game and developing female athletes through a strong yearly plan and fast paced, challenging practices.
